Record a sale on credit

Record an unpaid sale as a receivable and review its due date.

1. Choose Credit

Add the customer and products, then tap Credit in the payment section. This means that you have not received the sale amount yet.

Choose Credit when the customer has not paid the sale amount yet.

2. Review the receivable and due date

When Credit is selected, SalesDocks shows that the amount will be recorded without payment. The sale total becomes the credit amount, and the due date is displayed with it.

Review the credit amount and due date that will be recorded as a receivable.

3. Save and settle later

Tap Save to add the amount to the customer’s receivable balance. After receiving the money, settle the transaction from the customer’s credit history to reduce the receivable.

Save the credit sale, then settle it from the customer’s credit history after payment.
