Review profit trends

Compare sales and purchase amounts to review profit trends by period.

In this guide
  1. Set a period
  2. Compare sales and purchases
  3. Trace the source transactions

1. Set a period

Open Net Profit by Customer in Premium Statistics, then tap the date range at the top. Use the same start and end dates when comparing results across reports.

Choose the period used to calculate revenue, cost, and profit.

2. Compare revenue and cost

For each customer, compare Revenue, Cost, Count, Profit, and Profit Margin. Profit is meaningful only when the related cost is reviewed alongside revenue.

Compare each customer's revenue and cost through profit and profit margin.

3. Trace the source transactions

If a customer's profit is unexpected, open Sales Report by Period and review transactions in the same date range. Check product prices, discounts, returns, and payment status to trace the difference.

Trace the cause through the individual transactions in the same period.
